ENTrePREneurship Keynote Speaker & EXPERT On Intrapreneurial mindsets

Looking for an inspiring, powerful, authentic, and highly-experienced Entrepreneurship Keynote Speaker and an expert on building intrapreneurial mindsets for your next event?

With 25+ years of experience supporting both start-ups and major corporations (e.g. Disney, Diageo, Nike, Chevron, Novartis) on the frontlines of digital disruption—and three decades of hard-won expertise founding 10 pioneering and pathfinding start-ups within the innovation, leadership, and transformation space—Nick Jankel shares what motivates and maintains his own journey of serial entrepreneurship as well as insights and tools to help everyone be more adaptive, nimble, and visionary to forge the future as they deliver on the need for performance in the present.

How entrepreneurs must hold a bold long-term vision of what is possible to forge the future of their industry while at the same time driving high-quality and efficient execution with rigorous attention to detail.

Discover the core characteristics of a "Founder’s Mindset" and how it can be stimulated in organizations (and in society) to unleash agency, accountability, business acumen, responsibility, care, agility, coping with complexity, comfort with uncertainty, and velocity.

Ways to spot, motivate, and nurture potential entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs—and how to develop their skills and capabilities as leaders and innovators within an organization.

How to create the right conditions for intrapreneurs to innovate within risk-averse corporations and institutions that tend to crush creativity and kill innovation even as they seek it.

How to provide the freedom and flexibility needed for entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship to flourish—as well as clear guidance and guardrails to prevent damaging mistakes, painful failures, and too much disruption.

Why conventional performance management structures and incentivization techniques will likely crush the energy, intrinsic motivation, and momentum of intrapreneurs—and how to avoid wasting their precious resources and discretionary energy.

How to build a personal brand as an intrapreneur/entrepreneur to gain attention and so resources—and how to use entrepreneurship as the best personal and leadership development program money cannot buy.

Ways to weed out the charlatans and ensure your projects are supported by bakers with aligned values and common cause—to avoid the high costs of resource withdrawal.

Nick Jankel spoke at the launch of a major European program on entrepreneurship. We were looking for someone at the forefront of thinking about creativity, entrepreneurship and the potential of young entrepreneurs and we needed someone who could communicate those ideas with authority, with conviction, and on the basis of personal experience as an entrepreneur.  In Nick we most definitely found who we were looking for.

Research shows that the USA is considered the best place on Earth to be an entrepreneur, with 90% of new American billionaires being self-made entrepreneurs. Approximately 60% of managers express support for entrepreneurs within organizations. However, only a third of workers feel they have the freedom, flexibility, and resources. Tragically, top companies, while boasting about recruiting top talent, often fail to provide the necessary space, tools, and budgets for these individuals to solve organizational problems through entrepreneurship.

Personally, I absolutely love being an entrepreneur. Few things are more exciting than waking up in the morning, spotting an opportunity, seizing it, and making progress toward your vision by the end of the day. Over 25 years, I have been a serial purpose-driven entrepreneur, thriving even in challenging times. I established a fast-growth Innovation agency and accelerator at the age of 25 without capital or backers.

Surviving four recessions, I attribute my success to the power of entrepreneurship to innovate our way out of any problem. I have also navigated entrepreneurial burnout, finding the right mindset and everyday practices needed for relentless entrepreneurialism. Chosen as a UK Ambassador for entrepreneurship, I’ve supported numerous ambitious enterprises worldwide, unlocking their best potential.

Taking your brief, I commit to working tirelessly to amplify your messages and innovate your ambitions while remaining independent as a thought leader, challenger, and aspirer. Each of my keynotes is customized to meet and exceed expectations, connecting with your specific audience to unleash energy, momentum, inspiration, and traction.

I can share insights on:

  • How anyone in any organization can develop a founder’s mindset, boosting agency, accountability, and self-authorship.

  • How entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs can fall in love with a problem, spending years developing bold ideas and executing them effectively.

  • Insights on balancing the freedom and flexibility that unlock entrepreneurship with guidance and guardrails, preventing disorder and damage.

  • Spotting, motivating, and nurturing potential entrepreneurs, providing them with the right conditions to innovate and disrupt.

  • Why today’s performance management techniques may crush the energy and momentum you want from entrepreneurs and how to share the rewards as well as the risks.

  • The aim is to make entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship a sustainable win-win-win – a win for the employee, a win for the organization, and a win for our world.

I saw the room go from a bit tired to very inspired. Totally engaging and fully immersive. You wouldn’t want to miss a second of it. It was powerfully supercharged right from the start.
