“I must create a system or be enslaved by another man’s.” William Blake
In this flagship 3-day workshop, participants steadfastly embrace and explore the biggest questions of the times:
How can I personally flourish most in this complex and challenging era? Which of my talents can I draw on to serve the emergence of a more flourishing world around me? What is the part I want to play in co-creating a better world?
The key that unlocks the door to a fully flourishing life is a daily experience of unity – our interconnected reality as an intrinsic part of the natural world.
This is not about religion, doctrine or even faith. It’s the embodiment of a truth that Einstein and Nils Bohr, Mandela and Gandhi (and even Oprah and Prince Charles) have all realized.
Through the use of music, meditation, contemplation and peer-coaching, workshop participants will connect with the true reality of Being. Many will experience what is popularly called ‘enlightenment’. This need not be some grand, earth-shattering moment. But a sense of the sublime that, like a small sip of whisky on a cold day, spreads throughout our bodies to warm the essence of our being.
This in turn will catalyze a series of transformations over the next two days which aim to liberate participants from the beliefs that limit their potential to flourish.
With the freedom of a blank canvas participants then work alone or in groups to design an everyday life philosophy that fits their personal, social and environmental imagination.
Day 1: Seeing with New Eyes. Participants explore the powerful sets of assumptions that guide all our lives, particularly those which lead to lives that are not in harmony with peace, equality and the balance found in nature. Once familiar with how to uncover the beliefs and conventions that guide and limit so much of experience, we will probe deeper to identify the beliefs which enchain most of us in emotionally draining, socially unfulfilling and environmentally unsustainable careers and lifestyles. We will together, without shame, blame and guilt, unpick the knots of daily compromises and convenient untruths that lead to a very ordinary life – and damage other people’s lives and livelihoods in the process. This is where we discover the true power of Diamond Mind – where we live with full integrity a radical responsibility for our Selves and our communities.
Day 2: Experiencing Truth. Using deep meditations, SoundWaves technology, scientific and anthropological evidence, co-creative sessions and deep intuition, Nick will guide participants to transform their assumptions by basking in the bliss of interconnected reality.
This process moves slowly deeper to experience – in the workshop itself – Oneness. From this most profound and ephemeral of all experiences all of life truly flows. Once participants experience in their body their inherent nature as a sacred part of the Universe, there is no need to be afraid. And without fear there is no need to spend our lives locked in dull jobs or consuming resources in unsustainable ways. With this experience, the complex of adaptive behaviors which lock our lives behind bars of our own creation, dissolve away.
Day 3: Co-Creating A New Story. Once we have experienced ourselves as an intrinsic and in someway ‘loved’ part of the Oneness – participants look at how this could play out in their everyday, buying-produce-at-the-store, lives. We will use storytelling techniques to collectively imagine a new story and then redesign the foundations of each person’s life philosophy to fit how the world really could become in our lifetime.
The final element of the workshop looks practically at tangible strategies for living a life of service: social entrepreneurship, ethical business, sustainable consumption, contributive relationships and spiritual activism.
This is where participants can enter the ‘sister’ workshop experience, The Impact Accelerator.
